river fishing fans - The Danube River
- The Danube is the second longest river in Europe and
that determines its fishing variety.
More than 45 freshwater fish species live in
the Danube delta.
The northern Bulgarian border passes the river downstream
which offers countless fishing spots for fishing fans.
The biggest fishes ever caught in Europe were caught
here - barbell (up to 10 kg), catfish (record specimens
of 100 kg each) pike, carp, grass carp, chub, bighead
carp, beluga, roach …..etc.
